T. Scott Forster

Scott focuses his practice on civil defense litigation, primarily insurance defense, probate litigation, and construction litigation. A former prosecutor, Scott has a variety of legal experience, including having tried cases to verdict in both magistrate court and circuit court.

In 2003, Scott graduated from The Citadel, cum laude, with a degree in English. While at The Citadel, he was a member of the Summerall Guards, the Senior Class Board of Directors, and the English and Spanish Honor Societies. He received his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he served as the Managing Editor of the Journal of Law and Education and was a member of the Moot Court Bar and President of the Federalist Society.

After law school, Scott served as a law clerk to Judge John C. Hayes, III in the 16th Judicial Circuit and was a prosecutor in the 16th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.

Scott was born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and is married to the former Miriam Stanley.
